MystiGal 143 Posted May 27, 2013 Just know that when we come home from the hospital, we have a lot more Fluid than normal, causing you to weigh more. Once the fluid comes off, you will start seeing the numbers drop. Your body is healing, give it time to do that. :-) 4 aggongora, Who Dat 70461, Ms skinniness and 1 other reacted to this
Fariethin 63 Posted May 27, 2013 You more than likely still have a lot of Fluid retention from the IV. Dont panic you cant help but lose when you are not even eating. Just make sure to get as much Water in as possible, this will help flush everything out. You will start losing really soon. 4 Who Dat 70461, Ms skinniness, aggongora and 1 other reacted to this
DayByDay 123 Posted May 27, 2013 Hi everyone. I am 4 days post op and have only lost one pound. I am starting to panic. Can anyone shed some light in this. Thanks so much I gained 10lbs of Fluid when I had surgery. They pump you up full of Fluid so you stay hydrated. I took me about a week for the fluid to dissipate Keep sipping that Water. Who Dat 70461 331 Posted May 27, 2013 Had the same thing...don't worry about it, just Fluid from surgery. Hang in there, the first few days will be a distant memory! After not losing for the first few days, I'm down 32 lbs. in 18 days.
