does anyone know of an insurance company that approves the lapband for people with a BMI less the 40?

Some insurancies do cover WLS for BMI < 40, but there's usually a requirement that you also have co-morbidities.

Mine was 39, but I had high cholesterol for about 8 years and sleep apnea as well.
