Brooke333 26 Posted May 26, 2013 I'm soo upset. I knew that at one point post surgery I would loose some hair but now I can't brush it or run my fingers through it without my hair falling out. My hair is thinning to the point where I am having to look at wigs....this just makes me want to cry cause I've always had beautiful hair and it's practically gone. I'm struggling with the fact that perhaps the weightless isn't worth it if I'm going to go bald at 32. I've takin all my Vitamins with Biotin on top and am trying my best to get the Protein everyday....my 3 month check up showed that my protein was good so why am I going bald? Just really having a hard time staying positive when I feel I'm loosing more than just the extra weight. 1 caligirl3 reacted to this
Tammy123 22 Posted May 26, 2013 Awwww....I'm sorry. I'm getting sleeved the day after tomorrow and Hair loss is a concern for me as well. I wish I had some advice for you. I do know that it will grow back but that doesn't help much right now. Try to stay positive and focus on your health. It will get better. (((hugs)))) 1 nsquared reacted to this

I have pretty thin hair and lost SO much after a totally different surgery last summer so I'm expecting the worst in a few months time. I've heard of people getting extentions, which i might have to. But I used hair powder to 'hide' the really thin spots, Vitamins and shampoos. There's not much else, apart from a great haircut! It's disappointing but you will NOT be bald. Just be patient... You're still beautiful and it will all grow back! Photos of products/ vitamins. 2 nsquared and Brooke333 reacted to this
lsereno 2,525 Posted May 26, 2013 Hi all, Do what you have to do to get through it - it does grow back. At two years out, mine is finally thick all the way to the ends again. The combination of radically reduced calories and anesthisa does a number on just about everyone's hair. My hairdresser looked like he was going to cry every time he saw me for a few months. NewAshes 232 Posted May 26, 2013 It might grow back for all of you but took me years and years just to get my hair shoulder length my hair grows super slow so if I have to cut it or whatever it won't be the same length for a long time..luckily I have very thick hair so hopefully it won't effect me much. I hear garlic oil Shampoo and conditioner helps
