mistysj 1,940 Posted May 29, 2013 Have you guys started reading it? I'm curious what you thought of the ego/inner child stuff? It sounded odd to me at first, but I have been having a lot of "eye hunger" and have been able to use the "that's just the child" trick several times now. 1 brandnewbie reacted to this

mistysj 1,940 Posted June 3, 2013 Interesting idea. Maybe we can choose to discuss on the weekend. In Australia so I'm 15 hours ahead of you guys. Or maybe we can just discuss as we finish a part. Who has already finished step 1?

mistysj 1,940 Posted July 1, 2013 Well I guess the book club didn't work. I finished the book and it has some food things and some things that didn't connect with me. I most liked the idea of taking our Ideas and beliefs "to inquiry" and asking if we know they are true or if the opposite could be true. I am not sure if her hard line on abstinence is the only way to go. I did think her idea that hunger is healthy in small doses is also a good one.
