Don't feel bad or discouraged at all!! I am now at 9 months out, lost 84 lbs so far, 10 lbs was pre op. So, since surgery I've lost 74 lbs at 9 months. As all will say, we are all different and lose at different rates, but we will lose!! I'm at the gym 5 days a week with 50 min of cardio and add 20 min of strength training to that 3 days a week. My weight loss even slowed down alot the past 3 months, but I just know we have to keep on keeping on, no other way around it, right? We might be slower, but you are doing awesome in my eyes!! Smile :-)

It's hard getting past stalls. I'm approaching my 6 month mark. I'm going up and down by 3 lbs. I think we're scared the ride is over. I know if I could get rid of my loose skin I'd lose another 30 lbs. I keep pushing and hoping the scale will move again.

Don't feel bad because others lose faster. You're not failing. Although I've lost over 100, only 68 of those have been post op. But I'm still losing. In fact, I dipped under 200 today for the first time in 30 years! So even though people who were sleeved in the same month have already reached goal (and are wearing size 8's) I can't consider myself a failure. I just need to work a bit harder and stick to my diet plan.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
