Michael Sellers 3 Posted May 25, 2013 I'm 7 months out from surgery. 90 lbs gone with my goal of 100 in sight. I struggle with Portion Control and Protein, but otherwise feeling good. Only problem is brain fuzz/fog. A lot of people report this happens after surgery. Mine is a little better, but there are days when i struggle to find the right word or remember things. Doc says physically I'm fine. Have others experienced brain fuzz for a long time after surgery? Somewhat related, has anyone else taken Ritalin post-surgery? Ive been on it for years but effects after surgery have been weird. Thanks everyone.

Almostthere34 128 Posted May 26, 2013 I think you should talk to your doctor maybe the dosage should be adjusted. I have heard this being the case for some vsg patients. We process things a little differently plus you have lost weight. Aren't prescriptions based on body weight?I know this is true for my kids.
gypsyjolie 38 Posted May 26, 2013 Are you getting your Bcomplex? I took 5000 mcg B12 sublinguals before surgery even and those helped me to feel mentally sharper.
