k8ee 131 Posted May 25, 2013 Hi everyone. I'm just over two weeks post op. how many calories are you guys eating per day on the puréed stage? I'm nearly 3 weeks post op and I'm on 700-800 calories a day. I'm not really focusing on the calorie intake at the moment but rather focusing on getting enough Protein in and digesting the foods. kulita 243 Posted May 25, 2013 My puree stage includes soft foods. I was told but my NUT ( and it is written down) that I can have anything including meat that is tender, moist, and soft. I will admit that I had to break up the lamb meat into the sauce and let it sit for 5 minutes so that it could be a bit more moist All of these are acceptable and listed as options from my NUT's 50 page after surgery guidelines. I am about 4 weeks out and it sat really well too. No problems with pressure, gas, or pain. I just ate my meals over 45 minutes like I was told and I feel satisfied and full every time. 1 mistysj reacted to this
