Little People, Big World

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else watch this show? They are currently showing reruns of the 1st season on TLC. The 2nd season starts in March.

The show basically follows the Roloff family who live and work on their farm. There are 4 kids. The parents (Matt & Amy) are both little people and only one of their sons, Zach is also a little person.

This is really a good show. I have been sitting here in tears watching the episode w/the 5 year old boy Chance. He was soooooo adorable. I can't wait to see the 2nd season.

I have definitely fallen in love w/this show. I just started watching it this week.

It is a good show. I've seen episodes here and there. But I watched the show last night with Chance preparing to go home with his new family. He was so cute and it brought tears to my eyes too. What a good show. And educational too.

Hubby and I both watch it! We saw the episode last night with "Chance". It made us both cry! I told hubby if we ever get out to Oregon and are close to the Roloff farm, we gotta stop by and meet all of them! They are really a neat family. Little people with big hearts and huge personalities!

I really have learned a lot watching this show.

If I was in Oregon in I would stop in too. Their farm is sooo cool. Matt is very smart and creative.

I hope the 2nd season starts off good and that Jacob and Mike ( I think) are okay.

OMG, I don't miss a show. I love watching them. In March they're youngest son and another man gets hurt while they were launching pumpkins. They looked like they were hurt bad. I don't miss a show or rerun.

I watch this show on occasion as well. I have to do it when hubby isn't around though because he hates it! He can't stand Matt and his whining. My hubby is also disabled but dosen't define himself by it as Matt seems to do. I give kudos to Amy... I couldn't be married to someone like Matt!

One thing that always cracks us up though... they are always talking about how the farm is in "trouble" but Matt spends money like it's going out of style. Have you seen the episodes where they go to Hawaii and stay at the FOUR SEASONS hotel?? LOL... cracks me up.

I agree! I am guessing TLC paid for the trip, but what about all that STUFF he just buys for the farm??

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
