My stomach area feels like I did a bunch of pushups..just wondering if it is gonna be a lot worse tomorrow (I realize its tomorrow now but I mean when the sun comes up)? Tomorrow I begin drinking Water instead of IVs
Sheree 10 Posted May 24, 2013 hi, that was one of the most surprising things for me after my sleeve. VERY little pain! I was a little uncomfortable getting in and out of a chair or bed but other than that was mild. Did not use much pain meds at home.
mistysj 1,940 Posted May 24, 2013 It didn't get worse for me. I'm 10 days out so I guess I can quit waiting for the other shoe to drop!
fyre_storm 1,412 Posted May 24, 2013 Yes it gets worse.... Especially when the stomach that was pulled out comes after you.... I slept with hospital room door closed and locked, in case he decided to try and get back in me. Once I got home he followed me. I saw cigarette butts laying around my front door. And I don't smoke, it was his brand. So just be careful! 6 soocalchic, bvinson25, jensjoy28 and 3 others reacted to this
Ktishernamo 10 Posted May 24, 2013 The 2nd day was probably my worst BUT I stopped taking pain meds due to them making me nauseous.

sutherngyrl00 0 Posted May 24, 2013 I am 10 days out and went to my first post op appointment yesterday. My doctor told me that each day, you should wake up feeling better. If you don't, something is wrong. Keep that in mind as the days go by. I still have some discomfort on my left side, but every morning I wake up with more mobility. It surprises me sometimes because I can now start to do the regular things like bend over with no problems. It gets better!!!
