I started this journey 7 months ago to jump through every hoop that the insurance company wanted in order to approve my surgery...I will be leaving for the hospital today in just 2 hours...My bag is packed...and just a few more things around the house to get done so my family is prepared for my absence for 2 days...my new life is just around the bend....Hard to believe! YEAH! uccmart 23 Posted May 23, 2013 I'm so happy for you! I am hoping to get my surgery date today. I started my journey 20 months ago. Went though the first 4 or 5 hoops and my cardiologist said "No". So it was on hold. Started up again 6 months ago with my cardiologists blessing. My insurance approved it earlier this month. My pre-op class at the hospital is schedual for June 3rd. Got a message from the doc office to call them back. I am sure it was the surgery schedualer. Whoo Hoo!!! Good Luck Flutterby!! I am so happy for you.
