Italian Beauty 2 Posted May 23, 2013 Hi! I was sleeved on Tuesday and was released to go home today. I've been on the Clear Liquids but I'm getting spasms that come and go every so often. Anyone else experienced that?

kulita 243 Posted May 24, 2013 Well, we aren't dr.'s We are sympathizing with you and your struggles. Many of us go through what you are going through. In fact, I if your read this thread my experiences were similar. On your discharge papers does it have instructions on what to do if you have a fever? If you are still having a fever and feel ill call your Dr. It isn't normal for anyone to have a fever for as long as you have unless you are sick or have an infection. HatheryOnHerWay 603 Posted May 25, 2013 My flushing and hot redness have gone away I'm feeling much better, other than sipping still ends in foamy vomit 1/2 the time. This morning I woke up coughing and proceeded to throw up all over my bed--that was lovely. The doc said once I pass gas or have a BM ( haven't done either yet!) I should feel even better. Right now, the continual icky taste in my mouth is the worst. I wash my mouth out constantly!
MystiGal 143 Posted May 25, 2013 I was told the fever was due to me not getting enough fluids and not walking enough. Sure enough, I pushed the liquids & started walking every hour and no more fever! I spoke to my surgeon & he said the only time I need to worry about a fever is if 1. It wont break with more fluids/more walking or 2. It goes higher than 101.5.
