I been throwing up and had diareah. The doctors have diagnosed me with ibs but I have never had ibs before I'm trying to see my doctor that did my surgery but I have kaiser and have to go trough all this hurtles to see my doctor has any one else experienced what I am going trough. I have a upper endoscopy schedule till July 2nd and that x day test with barium till July 22nd. I'm so frustrated cause with all this medicine I'm taking I'm so latargic with no energy and have missed a lot of work.. I started having this pain right after surgery and first they said it was gall stones but I had my gall blader removed and I'm still in pain.. Any suggestions. Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted May 23, 2013 I also have Kaiser and I am able to email my NUT and case worker within the bariatric department. I had a pain in my left side and still get the pain when I get really full. I had an endoscopy and everything was normal. I had my gallbladder removed and everything was normal. There was some scar tissue where they pulled the stomach out on the left incision site. It's not bad, I just have to not eat too much. Sometimes I do get diarrhea, but my diet is mostly Protein with a little veggies. I do know that when I eat too much fat I do have difficulties with diarrhea. Go see you PCP and ask for a referral to the bariatric department for follow up. Go back to basics and see if things change. I have been eating basically protein and was doing the basics and it helped me drop about 4 lbs.

Roserie 302 Posted May 23, 2013 The diarrhea might be gallbladder related. Is it just with certain foods or all the time? I had mine out back in September and I know if I eat certain foods I have to go to the bathroom within 15-20min after. I have a friend who had hers out and had to go on a full vegetarian diet because the majority of foods gave her diarrhea.
cookie90270 1 Posted May 23, 2013 I am now on a liquid no dairy diet and the diarea is the less of my concern is the pain that I get.. Omg it's almost like if they where stanbing me bellow my left rib on my abdomen. When I get that pain I can't even move.. And constant vometing, dizzynes.. I fainted twice at work. I went to the er and they send me home cause all my blood work came out good just slightly anemic and Vitamin D deficient but other than that I have to wait till I get the gi and x ray test. As for right now they are treating me for ibs.. I'm Sao frustrated with kaiser. I don't know why they just don't let me see my surgen...

jeanettecamacho07 9 Posted June 4, 2013 I've been having the same pain with dizziness but no shoulder or other pains. I've had diarrhea and lost over 5lbs since pain started again last week. I have the pain every once and a while and now it seems constant. I'm going to go to my surgeon on Wednesday to see what he says, but I am in the same boat. My surgery was 12/20/12.
