Again, it was a joke.

I do have a question for you, though. Why do you think it should be free? Not trying to be a smartass, but someone has to pay for the site, the bandwidth not to mention all the time that goes into running a site like this. Someone is paying for it, why not the users?

That said, if I was going to pay, which I am not, I have a list of improvements I'd like to see! Where did Alex go?

He's probably busy beating his head against a wall, wondering how the simple mention of Premium Membership could get so blown out of proportion.

Would you feel the same way if mark zuckerberg did that with fb? Improvements are needed but I think for support you should not need to be offered a free or paid subscription it should be free. Just my opinion.

i agree with you. like i said, i really would pay for this site if it were reasonable, especially if they added some helpful/super cool features.

Yup. I'm a business owner. Things cost money. My business pays my mortgage. If I give it away for free, the bank isn't going to be happy.

If I don't feel there is value in a service, I walk away. Do I love the support? Of course. Do I :NEED: it? It's nice, but my choices that led me to be a fattie certainly shouldn't cost this site owner a dime. We haven't even met yet!

Facebook is a very different business model with a much broader audience. It makes billions off of games & advertisement. Not to mention all of your information that is sold by Facebook. I'd really hate to see this turn into anything that remotely resembles Facebook.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
