Sweetcarol238 181 Posted May 21, 2013 Same here...blood work came back today...everything was perfect. They want me to eat more and not exercise as much. Not sure that is possible right now. Feel like that defeats the entire process...but we will see. I told them the dizziness is getting worse.

LouiseC 1,031 Posted May 24, 2013 It sounds like it could be low blood sugar leading to the dizziness. I get this. See your doctor.
deltadawn817 106 Posted May 24, 2013 I would take to your PCP about this. I get dizzy when I need fluids. but if you really feel you are not dehydrated then I would consider looking into and about hypoglycemia.

rewind 39 Posted May 25, 2013 Bloodwork may be perfect but unless they draw for electrolytes it won't show. Water won't keep those in balance after we have starved. So yes, sip a little gatorade if you are a little dehydrated. We need the salt. I felt this way a month or so out, and ended up getting a 7 up, another no-no. But I sipped ever so slow, and felt better in about an hour. We have cut so much it is your body's reaction to having nothing. So just be careful not to drink too much of it. Also, if you are dizzy when you first stand up, it is your blood pressure that may be a bit low. Don't stand up quickly. Rather, sit on the edge of your bed or couch for a minute, and let your blood circulate. Then stand.
Sarawillrockit2013! 4 Posted May 25, 2013 I was getting dizzy too, I found that Gatorade daily helped. I drank the regular Gatorade, not the low cal one. I felt better.

butterfly_gal 151 Posted May 25, 2013 I was dizzy all the time, but I had Iron deficiency anemia. I am getting weekly iron infusions, and it's been helping. Good luck, I hope you figure it out.
