Kelsan 117 Posted May 19, 2013 in a day i drink 2 Premier Protein drinks, plus maybe a little cottage cheese for lunch. I'm just finishing week 2. Or maybe sugar free pudding for lunch.
Jessiegurl2686 104 Posted May 19, 2013 Today I had 1 cup of watermelon....and a strong cheese. I'm about to drink my premier shake. Tonight for the first time I'm gonna try scrambled eggs with some cheese.
FeliciaMcG 5 Posted May 20, 2013 I'm 2 weeks post-op tomorrow, I've been very bad and not following dr orders completely. I've been slowly trying soft foods, and so far so good. Had eggs for Breakfast, 1/2 grilled cheese for lunch and 1/2C of spaghetti for dinner. No trouble with sickness, not pushing to full feeling. I'm sure my doctor would freak out on me, but I'm taking it slow and steady. Anyone else been bad like me?
destined to overcome 1 Posted May 21, 2013 Hi almost on week 2 for me wanted to see what everyone else is eating for some tips? I am actually 2 weeks post-op today and I'm scared to move to the soft food phase. I don't want to disrupt the sleeve so i will have eggbeaters today and see how it goes. PrettyxInxInkx 2 Posted May 23, 2013 I'm 10 days post-op and I've been bad too. I had a south beach diet Protein Bar. It was the whipped Peanut Butter kind and it was SO good. I have no idea what I should have for dinner, but I'm sick of yogurt and Soup.< /p>
NMJG 1,266 Posted May 23, 2013 Friends, be strong! From what I hear, the first 6 months are your best opportunity to get the most weight off and it's slower after that. Don't sabotage yourselves by not following doctor's orders when you have put so much into this. If you find yourself sliding, come online and the group will help you. 2 RAAinNH and NJGurl19 reacted to this
KTB1128 21 Posted May 23, 2013 Holy cow, you guys are eating real food so soon! I'm still on full liquids @ 11 days out and don't start purée until Tuesday.
Nuchnuch 120 Posted May 23, 2013 I have 4 weeks of full liquid
cinward2001 141 Posted May 23, 2013 I'm 9 days post op and on full liquids, which, for my doctor, means pretty much anything I can puree. Soft foods will start the 29th. I am almost POSITIVE that if I wanted to try, I could eat just about anything. But my commitment to making this change in my life is stronger than my desire for solid food.< /p> 1 RAAinNH reacted to this
