maharet111 544 Posted June 6, 2013 After reading all the posts around "eating more to lose more" and speaking to my nutritionist, I tried to increased my calories and Protein last week. I got in around 1100 calories and over 115 grams of protein on average each day. Interesting enough, my doggie had surgery on Friday and I have been stuck home with her and hadn't worked out hard at all..got on the scale yesterday for my weigh in and I am down 3 pounds. I don't know if it is a fluke and it is the first time I haven't had to fight for any kind of loss since surgery. I am going to maintain the calorie and protein intake this week again and see what happens. 2 aroundhky and itstheamarie reacted to this

Kalimomof3 613 Posted June 6, 2013 A pound is a pound. It's the mass/size that is different. Yes I look at it this way if you look at 2 identical twin sized 0 people and one is muscular and toned and one is just "skinny fat" with little muscle....The toned muscular one will weigh more.
