missyjoy2078 381 Posted May 19, 2013 I'm taking 3 weeks off from work. I'm going to assemble I will be a size smaller when I go back to work. How the heck do you have things to wear when you are only that size for a month or two? I work in fashion so I need to look trendy and cute. Which is also $$$. Tammy123 22 Posted May 19, 2013 I wish I knew! I think I have some of my older clothes which are in smaller sizes. I will probably hit some thrift stores. Can you get some of your more expensive pieces altered? Hold on to them for as long as you can by doing that.
missyjoy2078 381 Posted May 19, 2013 That could work. I'm going to dig through my closet and sort by size. 43 more days to go!
Pixie Dust 526 Posted May 19, 2013 My cousin had WLS too a few years back & she shopped at Thrift stores too. She would tell me of designer wear she would buy for $10! I just don't have the patience to sift thru everything because the two nearest me don't have anything filed in order. They just stick all the clothes on a rack & you have to go thru each & every one to find the size you're looking for. I can't handle that!
