May142013 74 Posted May 18, 2013 I'm 4 days post up and have been running a low grade fever for the last 24 hours. My discharge papers indicate to call the doc for fever over 101. I've been running 100 to 100.8, so have not called. It's just enough to make me feel crappy - light headed and sleepy. I'm doing well getting in my liquids (peeing clear and often) so am definitely not dehydrated. It makes me so mad because Ive been doing great! Has anyone experienced this? Thanks! Djstola 26 Posted May 18, 2013 I ran a fever for 4 days. Turned out to be a UTI from the catheter. Don't let it go for too many days...just have to pee in a cup to get it checked. Definitely push the fluids.

Djstola 26 Posted May 18, 2013 Did you have other symptoms such as burning when you pee? Fever, vomiting. It was day after surgery. No burning, but pee came back positive. Antibiotics did a number on my stomach.
FreeToBMe 8 Posted May 19, 2013 I had fever that went above 101. They sent me for labs, no infection, it was just my body reacting to all the stress
