fp9107 121 Posted May 18, 2013 What is your best non-scale victory post surgery? I went to Marshall's today and bought Xl shirts off the rack and I did not have to shop in the big and tall section of the store. Woo hoo!!! I can now find shirts that look good and are not a after thought on what material should I use to cover this big boy up with. I think someone shout create a clothing line that looks good for people of size. 2 Cheer Mama and chasaty379 reacted to this
No game 14,437 Posted May 18, 2013 I think my best NSV is NOT feeling heart palpitations and out of breath everyday like I'm going to die soon. 6 colleenb, Nicolanz, jacee and 3 others reacted to this
sharonintx 1,275 Posted May 18, 2013 My mother bought me some hot pink capri pants for my birthday. I knew when I looked at them they would be too big. So I took them back and exchanged for the next smaller size, which was a L. It's been many years since I bought some stretchy pants that didn't have an XL or XXL on the tag. It was awesome. 4 Chivon32, Cheer Mama, chasaty379 and 1 other reacted to this
erp 2,016 Posted May 18, 2013 I'm living life more rather than having it pass me by- I have more energy now. It didn't happen right after surgery but now I am more active and watch less TV. If my hubby wouldn't have an absolute cow, I would consider getting rid of the TV. 2 chasaty379 and Cheer Mama reacted to this
bmbrush413 124 Posted May 18, 2013 Definitely having to ask for a smaller size when clothes shopping...inching closer and closer to being out of the plus size section! 2 chasaty379 and Cheer Mama reacted to this
Ballermom 803 Posted May 18, 2013 Spent a wonderful week working out which included Aqua fitness and the hot tub afterwards. Not being the largest person the class. Becoming more comfortable with my body. And my New XL pants are loose. I was wearing a 3x! 2 chasaty379 and Cheer Mama reacted to this

eclipse 67 Posted May 19, 2013 I went nearly the entire day on Friday before it dawned on me that I was wearing a skirt without Spanx. I cannot remember the last time I wore a dress or skirt wo them bc my legs rubbed together all the way to my knees and skin on skin would leave me rubbed raw. 3 happilysleeved, ProudGrammy and Cheer Mama reacted to this

jacee 183 Posted May 19, 2013 1. Being able to bend over and reach the floor for something in car w/o feeling like I'm bending over an inner tube and barely able to grasp what I am reaching for. 2. Walking in a clothing store feeling EXCITED not dread 3. Having my husbands friend tell him, man your wife is hot. 4. Looking in the mirror seeing my thin face appear more and more day after day and not looking away because I am disgusted with my chubby cheeks. 5. Not knocking everything over in the shower with my big butt...lol 6. Not avoiding ppl I have known for years at the grocery store, because I don't want them to see how fat I have gotten (ouch that was honest) 7. Not being afraid to walk into the school or a sporting event ashamed of my size. 8. Not just putting my hair in a bun because I gave up, but instead blowing it out and styling it. 9. Wearing colors other than black (this is one of my favorites) 10. Not wearing stretchy pants everyday. Thank you lord.. I feel human again. 2 ProudGrammy and happilysleeved reacted to this
