No game 14,437 Posted May 18, 2013 That's so awesome kid. Really proud of you. Now go do more! Remember these days when you aren't feeling your best. Pushy much? You know I was so happy how easy it was! But now a couple of hours later I'm exhausted Damn I'm getting old! But it's better than old and morbidly obese, right? 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

Fiddleman 4,376 Posted May 18, 2013 At least it was not cold stone gotta have it founders at at least 2000 calories, extra caramel, extra chocolate sauce....in a butter finger chocolate dipped waffle bowl...mmmmmmmmm. ... I say you did quite all right compared to that. Look at it this way, tomorrow is a fresh day with another chance to make better choices. You can do it!! No game 14,437 Posted May 18, 2013 No it was a kiddie cup of watermelon ice cream.. But guilt has set in. But I was shopping at the mall with my daughter and got "talked" into it
Fiddleman 4,376 Posted May 18, 2013 By the time you are done walking the mall, I am sure you will make a pretty good dent in those extra calories. besides, you just did a 5 mile hike. Those calories bounced right off you into space.

Nicolanz 1,484 Posted May 18, 2013 I worked out today too! My whole body still hurts from my workout on Wednesday but I pushed through. While I was doing those crunches where you touch your elbow to the opposite knee, I slammed my knee not realizing how easy it is now!

I feel very lucky for that
Nicolanz 1,484 Posted May 18, 2013 You are lucky and I'm jealous! Living in Texas, I don't get to see them much. But when I do, I could just stare at them all day! Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, and California are my favorite places to visit. Hopefully one day I'll live in one of those states!
No game 14,437 Posted May 18, 2013 It always hits me when we are out for the day at the beach especially in the Big Sur area and people from al over the world are there snapping pictures for their memory books.. I get to see and be there anytime I want. My brother lived in Texas for a while, he loved it and never wanted to come back here.. It must not be that bad! Oh and I woke up this morning after my "easy" hike just a slight bit stiff Guess it wasn't THAT easy!

I am jealous sometimes of the interesting weather you get down there in Texas. It is pretty boring up here in Washington.

Increased fish oil will help with the inflammation caused by the exercise. Try taking 1-2 g. I really loved your photo of your hike above. Very nice! I am thinking about going on a gentle hike today called sleeping giant here in Kauai. Not too bad of a hike, but has good views at the top and fresh papaya and mangoes growing on the side of the trail ( need to be careful though because mangoes have a toxic skin in the wild that can burn your skin if not careful). Maybe tomorrow I will drive up to the north cost and hike part of the Nepali coast trail. It is absolutely beautiful!!
