shannon crotts 23 Posted May 17, 2013 Has anyone added the unflavored Protein to iced tea or any regular drink? I am so over my shakes and am thinking this might be a good way to get in my protein and i can only recall threads about it being added to food not drinks. Thanks!! Kelsan 117 Posted May 17, 2013 You can add it to drinks. The Unjury website recommends adding to Crystal Light fruit flavors. Check out their website, there are other ways to use it. I have not tried it in crystal light, but I put the unflavored into beef broth and it tastes just fine. I can't taste a difference. Good luck.
TapSnap 357 Posted May 17, 2013 I have added unflavored Unjury to Soups as well to get some extra Protein in. added some to crab Soup a few weeks back and couldn't tell the difference.
ajeeprider 94 Posted May 17, 2013 I don't like the taste of the unjury. Tried the tasteless in my Soups and it still had that Protein taste. Not to mention I had lukewarm Soup to keep the powder from breaking down with high heat. Yucky! But our taste buds are all so different on this board. tigerbelle 328 Posted May 17, 2013 I have added Unjury to Soups before, and I even tested the temp to make sure it was under 140 degrees...however, the powder did not completely dissolved and still got clumpy

JackieV 246 Posted May 17, 2013 Once a day I make a Protein Drink with unflavored Protein. Right now I am drinking 16oz of Water, Isopure unflavored and sugar free lemonade. I bought more injury And it should be delivered today. They all have a semi funk but it's not terrible. My best advice is to mix with lots of water. The more water the less I can taste the protein. I was doing 8oz drinks and gagging the entire time. Now I've upped it to 16oz, it's way better.
doreen70 268 Posted May 18, 2013 I mixed unflavored Unjury to crystal light lemonade and it was disgusting.

zempress 4 Posted May 18, 2013 The chicken Soup or stock one was excellent! I tried the unflavored in some Tomato Soup and it was just wrong not to mention the dump Clumps!
tigerbelle 328 Posted May 18, 2013 zempress, how did you use the chicken Soup flavored one? did you add it to cream of chicken soup? I did, and I got the same effect as you did with the dump clumps in the Tomato Soup

MicaNicole 25 Posted May 18, 2013 I mixed unflavored Unjury to crystal light lemonade and it was disgusting. @Doreen,try the unflavored unjury with a fruit punch sugar free beverage,or any sugar free beverage you May like, that seems to taste alot better for me ,good luck
Snufflegus 80 Posted May 18, 2013 So I have a trick I use with my chicken flavored unjury, I mix a small amount of Water 2-3 oz that is tap Water warm with the powder and dissolve it with that, then for me because I like the broth I heat the rest of the 8 oz up as hot as I like and mix them together. I have not had clump problems doing it this way. I'm not a huge fan of the unflavored, tried mixing it with the orange flavor crystal light and couldn't drink it. Will try putting it in some food before giving up on it. 1 MicaNicole reacted to this
Momof3JML 21 Posted May 19, 2013 My Nut suggested that I try it in Jello (sugar free of course) or in pudding. When putting it in jello, dissolve it in the cold Water before mixing it with the heated jello.
