mandyrenee82 59 Posted May 17, 2013 Did anyone else's hormones go nuts after surgery? I was sleeved 4/16. Shortly after that George jones died (I'm a huge country music fan just not this new country crap). I cried for days and still tear up if I hear one of his songs. That's not all. One minute I'm happy, the next I'm bawling like a baby. For no reason. My surgeon said that the more weight I lose, the more estrogen will be put in my body so my hormones would be whacked. I'm so tired of the ups and downs. I'm starting to even tear up writing this. Anyone else going/went through the same thing? It's embarrassing but my husband is really supportive but I know it must be driving him nuts, too. Any ideas for relief or help?
banditchic 83 Posted May 17, 2013 My first 6 weeks after surgery was like that too. I hated everything one minute, and was so emotional the next. I'm 3 months out now, and everything has seemed to level out. The first 6 weeks are tough. Hang in there
