It's not just you.. The sleeve doesn't jump out and slap that crappy food out of our hands! :P

We have to choose what we want to eat.

When I eat slider foods (junk food) I am able to eat more and it more comfortable than eating dense Protein...

Choices, they are still ours to make.

On that note my daughters birthday was this week and I had a small piece of cake :D

after awhile, the sleeve will allow you to eat most anything. however, it's your body that's in the background saying, "i need Protein...i need my Vitamins...i need nutrition." slider foods like fries, chips, etc., are easy to consume in quantities because they are easy to chew; however, you'll eventually become full and the sleeve will let you know, one way or the other. then your body will say, "hello....thought i was getting some protein....."

seriously, the sleeve manages quantity not quality. personally, i think its ok to have fries and pizza, just in moderation. they are yummy. just remember that nutrition and healthy foods come first in order to support your physical and mental strength.

Something about this is really amusing. Yeah, you can tolerate a LOT of things you shouldn't eat. You were very mislead of you thought it would be any other way.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
