WeeWers 48 Posted May 17, 2013 I hadn't even considered the mental/emotional impact to that degree!! I have just started seeing a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. I'm an "emotional eater." It doesn't have to be a bad emotion -- any ol' emotion will do. I was hoping to work with her because I'm terrified of gaining it back. Losing seems to be the easier part ... according to others. For me, I wish I had started seeing a therapist a lot longer than one month before surgery! Ballermom 803 Posted May 17, 2013 I wish I would have started the gym weeks sooner than now. But now is also Fun!
Banned member 320 Posted May 17, 2013 I wish I would of seen my NUT sooner! I didn't see my NUT until I was about 6 months post op. She didn't scold me and she told me I was doing great. Plus she helped me refocus. I don't know why I was scared but I'm happy that I faced my fears to get back on track
