shellsheck 11 Posted May 15, 2013 I just had my surgery yesterday and today I started having some pains in the top section. It's almost like gas bubbles popping inside my stomach, but stops me in my tracks. I have not passed gas or had a BM yet either. I did gas x strips and it didn't really help. 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this

melody2 61 Posted May 15, 2013 If the pain is non stop then definitely call your doctor. If the pain comes and goes, I would try walking to see if the movement helps alleviate the gas pains.
iontash 25 Posted May 15, 2013 make sure your temperature is not high. I had my surgery May 7th and went home May 8th. By May 10th I was having so much pain in my entire abdomen and chest and I had a 102 fever. I called my doc and he told me to go to the emergency room. Turns out I had phnemonia and then I found out when they excised my stomach they damaged my spleen. I had to stay in the hospital 3 days. I just got home and I am now healing well I think. when in doubt call your surgeon.
