Thx for the info...6 bottles at a Time?....:-) how much u take and how often u take it?...

I order it 6 at a time so I do not have to order so often and it saves on shipping, me and hubby take a TBSP every morning, he has arthritis and swears he can tell a HUGE difference. Best of luck to u

I think it is great that you treated yourself. More importantly I think it fantastic you were able to eat popcorn. I am 11 days post op and feel I will never be able to eat. Good for you!!!!

I know that popcorn is not allowed. And why do so many of us have different information from our NUTs? It is because the data on the VSG is still too new and I believe that all NUTs are not the most informed or the best at giving advice. I did not go through this process to break rules or reward myself with food. I told myself on Day 1 at the first seminar that I would not be one of those people in the 25% group who failed.

This is from my doctor. Blockage of the anastomosis (connection between the stomach pouch and the small intestine) may occur if fibrous or tough foods are eaten. Fibrous foods include: dry or tough meat, coconut, hot dog skins, nuts, seeds, popcorn, and skins of some fruit and vegetables. If food has blocked the anastomosis try adding one spoonful of Adolf's meat tenderizer to 1/4 cup warm Water and sip slowly. If the vomiting continues throughout the day, stop eating solid foods and sip only Clear Liquids for the next 4 hours. If vomiting continues for more than 24 hours, call your doctor. Continued vomiting may indicate that the outlet from your stomach pouch into your small intestine has become blocked and you may be at risk for dehydration. Sometimes blockages must be remove using an instrument called an endoscope that is passed through your mouth into your stomach. The best way avoid to avoid this is to chew all foods to the consistency of baby food, and avoid food that are fibrous or hard to digest. In some cases, the outlet to the small intestine becomes narrowed over time even though you are following the dietary guidelines. This condition is called stenosis

I've lost more than 100 pounds In just six months and I'm still losing. I'm actually only 10 pounds away from goal weight and worried about losing to much. Don't scare people with these posts. It's up everyone on here to make their own choices. Stay under your calorie goal eat healthier food and work out. That's all it takes. Of you are strong enough to reward yourself with a little popcorn without falling off the wagon do so. Jeez...

Yeah I'm going to get crap for this, but this is why I don't like this site. Judgmental and controlling people.

Listen, I'm about to lay some truth on you. You got fat for a reason. You had an unhealthy relationship to food. And guess what, it is EQUALLY unhealthy to be afraid of food.

An indulgence is just that, an indulgence. It is not an every day thing. It is allowing yourself the pleasure of ENJOYING your life!! If you don't, then why bother getting VSG in the first place? So that you can be thin and miserable. Ok, you go ahead, but I am going to be happy and eat some popcorn once in a blue moon... Omg and maybe some pizza *gasp*

I'm sure you will get over it, and if you don't, I won't think of you while I am thin, happy, and healthy and you are angrily scrolling through forums looking for someone to dump on.

There's your not so nice truth from an extremely nice person who has seen quite enough of this bullying. Have a blessed day!

Congratulations on your weight loss. I'm glad you've found a good balance between diet and exercise, and occasionally treating yourself. You look great, I'm sure you feel great, and you're getting a second chance to physically be able to be there for your children. My son was my main reason for this surgery and I applaud you for all the progress you've made.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
