Sleeved 3/6 and down nearly 44 lbs. getting in my Protein but not so great on Water the past week. I vow to do better! I started taking slow fe Iron this past week but I'm still tired. Taking all of my vites and all of that so I'm kind if confused. I just haven't wanted to exercise the last week or so either. Any ideas?

I'm not sure how I can help because I am in the same situation. I was sleeved on 3/30 and am down 42lbs. I am so tired all the time. I have no energy to make it through the day. Any advise would be helpful.

I agree with Arts137...I've heard hydration is super important for feeling energy.

It's all about the Water. I felt the same way 3-4 weeks out. Someone on the forum suggested I increase my Water consumption and I noticed an immediate difference in two days. Yeah, it's hard to think about drinking 64 ounces of anything but it makes a difference. I just keep a bottle of water or G2 Gatorade (watch the carbs) with me at all times. The new water enhancers by Dasani, Crystal Light and yes, even Kool-Aid, or great ways to get flavor without calories or carbs.

It's weird...I drink so much Fluid, yet I don't make frequent bathroom stops as you would normally think. But I definitely have more energy.

Three weeks out and I haven't missed a day without a nap. Not one. I will take the advice and take in more Water, since I think I have been light in this regards. Thanks for the comments.

It's internal drive too. Just make yourself get out and do something. Take a buddy if it would help. Maybe try something different, like Water aerobics, trampoline aerobics, etc.

I am also in the same boat...I only have a few sips of Water a day and probably no protein..I hardly get hungry and when I do I have no energy to eat..I'm 35 pounds down was sleeved April 8th...I haven't been to the gym because I have no energy but know I have to start ASAP so that I don't get much loose skin.

Im having the same problem but i know it's because of my Water consumption. im only getting in about 40oz per day and im nearly 5 months out! i was also told to incorporate Vitamin B12 into my dailys. i wasnt doing that before.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
