Breast reduction and breast lift a week ago

Recommended Posts

So so happy with my decision to have a breast reduction (in one breast) and breast lift in both! Thought I would have to have implants to correct my poor sagging drooping breasts, but I found out that I could go this other route instead.

I am one week post op and my breasts (although still taped a bit and a little bruised) are beautiful!

I finally have 25 year old breasts (even though I'm 59!). If you're interested in more information, I wrote a new post on my blog www.queenofcrop.com

No pain for the most part.....and I am so happy not to have my old breasts......

Thanks for sharing this - checked out the new post on your blog and wow!

I had large breasts even when I wasn't overweight. I had said that when I lost weight I would get a reduction and lift, even seen a surgeon. But post sleeve, I couldn't contemplate more surgery and thought I would just have to live with saggy boobs.

However, even three weeks out from the sleeve, I can see already that that's not going to be an option. But I didn't know anyone who'd done this post sleeve. Then up you pop!

So thank you, thank you, thank you for the inspiration. You look great and sound so happy with life. That'll do for me :-))))

hi omg!! i love the "new breasts" i know they are a replica but that is just the look i want! i am new to my journey (6 weeks) but I was a lightweight!! my bmi was 34. I have lost 26lbs and already my breasts are looking so sad and droopy so I know once I get to goal they will need uplifting!!!

did you have surgery in amsterdam and was it expensive? I am british but live in the US and the prices here vary from state to state. so Im very interested! I have subscribed to your blog so will love hearing how things are going!

congratulations!!!

@ Ainsworth: Thanks for the compliments....the cost was so reasonable to me....it was 4800 Euro which is about $6200 USD. That included one night in a private hospital with excellent care, consultations and follow up. So worth it. Good luck on your journey and congratulations on your weight loss so far!

I'm scheduled for a breastlift next month along with a LBL, can you tell me your size before/after? I'm wondering if I have enough to work with.

Queen of Crop, thank you so much for sharing! Congrats on your successful surgery! I just scheduled my breast lift/reduction surgery for July 1st and am super excited. I'm currently wearing a size 40DD bra, and the girls hang down nearly to my navel, and it's just a sad, ugly sight. I hope my surgeon does as good a job as yours! He is highly rated and his before & after pics were really encouraging, and he really put me as ease during the consult, so I'm hoping for a great result. :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
