lenibugger 0 Posted May 13, 2013 Hi guys I found this board through a google search.. and I'm so glad I did. I hope you have some advice to share! I am almost 3 years post op and 26w pregnant. I found in the beginning, I had slight morning sickness, but nothing too difficult to manage. Lately, however, I have found that I can't keep anything down! It's not nausea so much-- it just comes right back up. I'm wondering if anyone else had this happen? I watch what and how much I eat.. very small portions frequently through the day, but lately it doesn't matter. I had an appointment this morning and lost 2 pounds since my last appointment, putting me at only 9 pounds gained in 26 weeks. I got lectured about it, but I don't know what else to do. The baby is measuring right on target and my fundal height is even measuring 3 weeks "ahead." I'm just so concerned she's not getting the right nutrients from me ...not to mention puking 3 times a day is so frustrating.. Before I got pregnant, I was pretty much at my goal weight for over 2 years... and managed it well.. hardly puked, etc.
kulita 243 Posted May 13, 2013 There is a Veterans forum that may be of more help. I am sorry this is happening to you. I hope that soon this will pass and you will deliver a wonderful healthy baby.
TES 858 Posted May 13, 2013 I would see if you can go to a clinical center of excellence and see a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, especially one who can do a consult with the bariatric and/or GI departments. Hope you feel better soon, and congratulations on your pregnancy.
