flabby inner arms and thighs

Recommended Posts

Down 50 lbs, do cardio and strength training at least 3-4 times a week but my inner arms and inner thighs are so flabby. Any ideas how to tighten them up a bit?

Water, Palmers Firming lotion, and hydration...and continued exercise. I know exactly what you mean...my arms are worse than my legs. Best of luck to you!

Oh believe me, after losing 137 lbs I have loose skin and its at its worst on my arms and thighs. I work out a lot and was lamenting the fact tonight that I finally have "guns" because my biceps are looking great but I can't show them off because of the underarm skin. Still, I'm going to give it a year before I investigate plastic surgery - from what I have researched it takes a good year before you know exactly how much your skin will shrink up.

With the bit I've lost I do have loose skin on the arms and thighs. But I just started with aqua fitness this week along doing cardio and the weight machines. More concern about my inner thighs too.

I don't know if it will help with the loose skin, but I've been practicing "horse stance", which is a tae kwon do move for several weeks now and I'm seeing improvement in the muscle tone on my inner thighs and glutes (butt muscles). I've also just started a 30 day squat challenge that was posted on FB. We'll see what the results are.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
