I had your same question. After many product reviews I decided to try this champion high impact sports bra. I usually wear 34ddd regular bra but bought 36dd size cuz the 34dd was ok around the ribs but squashed the girls too much (not sure if the have ddd sizes). sports authority and academy (bout 5 dollars cheaper here) are local stores around me that I've found them at. Bought two at the store them bought 3 more off eBay. I love them, minimal if any"Uniboob" effect and those baby's don't go ANYWHERE! Lol. Comfortable so you can still move n breathe but does an amazing job keeping things in check.

Another awesome sports bra for larger sizes are the Enell sports bra. They are pricey, but I got a two of them for a great deal on eBay.

I think I read on a thread a while back that people suggested a sports bra after surgery because it was more comfortable to wear, since it didn't rub against any incisions. Does anyone find that to be true? Cause if so, I'll really have to start looking....I didn't think they made them in my size!

Speaking of "the girls", did you lose a lot of them too? My surgery is in two days, I'm very endowed so wonder how much I will lose upstairs.

You know, everyone always tells me that is the first place they lose, but that wasn't so for me. I have not lost a thing from mine, but I also was a DD in junior high when I weighed only 130 pounds. So, I think I have just always been destined to be large breasted, some say its a blessing, but I get tired of lugging these things around, lol.

Enell bras, hands down, are the best for larger-breasted women. I have tried them all! My biggest disappointment is that I have shrunk out of my Enells, and I am trying to resist buying more until I am closer to my goal because they are quite pricey. Once I get to my goal, I plan to invest in a whole new fleet of Enells....

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
