Sannah 258 Posted May 11, 2013 Something is showing up in my sleeve. Doctor doesn't know what it is. Do you? Have you seen these? They are the swollen ripples in the photo and bile that should not be present. I have pain in the sleeve, nausea and trouble eating.
gmanbat 5,889 Posted May 11, 2013 If your docs don't know what it is they will probably consult some other docs. Sometimes the consulting ends up here: http://my.clevelandclinic.org/florida/departments/general_surgery/bariatric/default.aspx The Cleveland Center in Florida is one of the best in the world. My 1rst class surgeon studied there.
kiki1196 101 Posted May 11, 2013 At least they found something to work with. I'm sure your dr will find the answer. Is it possible your first, not so nice, surgeon did something wrong? Or do they think it developed post op?
Sydney Susan 333 Posted May 12, 2013 Folds in the suture line? Although I assume your dr would recognise that. Most drs have access to some sort of mentor/senior group and can refer cases for review. Ask your dr if he/she plans to do that ? Or what other steps can be taken.

I hope to find some answers.

Happy Mothers Day!! I hope so as well!! I am feeling bummed and defeated. I was told my sleeve was abnormally small, so it would be weird for any normal parts to be left behind. I am going to ask to be sure. This would be a great solution, because it would mean nothing is wrong. This would be so great!! thanks for telling me!! a little hope!! ShrinkingLee 2 Posted June 8, 2013 Sannah, why is your sleeve abnormally small? Was it cut that way intentionally? By accident? I ask because I have a similar situation, though in my case it was not intentional.

I am going to ask my current dr when I see her Friday after my upper gi. What happened with yours?
