kmschneiderpac 9 Posted May 10, 2013 Need a little support after a rough night and first day out. Lots of anxiety since none of my regular Meds were continued. Good news is no leaks on radiology today, I am taking fluids and ensure, and have all but my IV and drain out! Planning on discharge tomorrow and the comforts of home and my two best nurses- my dogs to comfort me! Tell me it gets better day by day and I will be smiling! Good luck all!!! jacquelynn.mclean 103 Posted May 10, 2013 It does get better. I spent four days in the hospital and was miserable. Once I got home I started doing MUCH better. Its cliche to say "no place like home" but seriously...there isn't. The pain might linger, but it's easier to get comfortable at home. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
sherrypep 91 Posted May 11, 2013 I had a revision from band to sleeve on Monday as well as a hiatel hernia repaired. It definately gets better. I feel very good just blown up with air and gas and a little sore. I was in the hospital for 3 days and when I got home I was so much more comfortable. Kennedy310 33 Posted May 11, 2013 It does get better! I was in a lot of pain post-surgery too. And I did not expect to be. I followed my doctor's advice and talk as much pain meds as were prescribed for the first few days. By the end of the first week, I did not need the pain meds anymore.
