What is the trap on either side of your neck you are mentioning?

Lortab... I was told to dilute it with Water half and half to make sure I didn't dump. Did not take it with food. I learned the hard way to not keep taking it every 4 hours round the clock until I saw the surgeon. She pulled my drain on Monday and none since.

Some of our pain can also be positioning pain. Sometimes they have to put us in weird positions so the dr can access where they need to access. In my case I was on the table for 4 1:2 hours, a long time to be in one position.

Hope you feel better soon

Laurie

"Trap" is short for trapezius, the muscle that runs from the side of your neck down your spine along the shoulderblade.

^ see... two very different answers.

Well, listen to your body. If you have been nauseous lately try the lortab after you have had some Protein.

Trap is short for trapezius muscle. It's the muscle that runs between the neck and shoulder. Sorry that's not the best answer. Not sure how to describe it. I'm trying to attach a picture but not sure it will work...

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
