Should not be a problem. Working your legs will be good for you. The more you more the faster you recover

I have stairs and since my bedroom is up here- my husband made me stay upstairs because of the pain meds that I was on. Didnt want to risk me falling down them. However, after atleast a week-I did go down them slowly. You just gotta be careful. I didnt have much energy.

I was going up and down stairs within hours of my surgery. I had to go slowly and carefully, but it was not a problem.

I also live in a two-story home and asked this same question. I was told it should be okay but to remember the carry limitations.

Everyone is a little different. However, I had pain for a few days after surgery & I was still fine going up & down the stairs. Just took them slow & carefully.
