ste_fun_ny 66 Posted May 10, 2013 I'm not sure if I should be doing these or not but I had my surgery on the 8th of April. I have been working out 2 times a day since the 14th I feel like everything is getting smaller but my stomach so I did some crunches this evening. Now my stomach is hurting not anything major but it's hurting a little. Is this normal should I not be doing crunches or should I continue? It's not a hurt like awwww that work out felt good but hurt like ummmmmmmm what the going on in there.
Yaya 81 Posted May 10, 2013 I was sleeved April 9th, and my doctor told me I could start back with ab work, but do NOT hold your breath while engaging the abs. Too much pressure could cause tearing of the muscles that are still trying to heal where the trocars were inserted, and that could lead to herniation. So be careful! Breathe through the movement.
