Bummed out for real...the last piece. Someone told he will give me a shot. My hemoglobin is 10.6 up from 9 in four days. I just want to get every in and wait for approval. Snail pace!

Will they not approve you because of your anemia? I had surgery with a hgb of 9. Not ideal but I was fine. I'm currently getting Iron infusions for another 6 weeks. Good luck to you.

Thanks to both of you. Both responses are very encouraging. I just hadn't anticipated the dr dragging it out so long. I keep telling myself "it's going to happen".

I was cleared! My normal hem is just between 10-11. So there is no worries!! Yay!

I am getting 10 weeks of Iron infusions. My surgery will be about half way through them . Hoping it won't interfere. See my surgeon on Tuesday. Have you had surgery yet?

Yes, I am two months out. My hemo was 9 at time of surgery, but my surgeon was ok with still going through with it. I've had two treatments already and can start telling a difference.
