HickGirl 1 Posted May 9, 2013 Any recommendations for Water exercising? I have a pool just not sure what exercises to do besides swimming.
NikkiV1986 121 Posted May 9, 2013 Google or YouTube will be your friend here! Anything with treading Water or kicking will help. A pool noodle will allow for crunches and resistance exercises for your arms and legs. 1 HickGirl reacted to this
notime 340 Posted May 9, 2013 Watch some Water aerobics videos and incorporate those moves into your pool exercise. 1 HickGirl reacted to this
newoutlookonlife 46 Posted May 9, 2013 I had a personal trainer do a 12 week aquatic program with me. It was amazing. There are tons of things you can do and use. I would suggest googling it or if you can go to a few classes at a pool it would be great for learning new ideas.
TES 858 Posted May 9, 2013 I love Water aerobics! It's a way better workout than a lot of people think, and it's easier on the joints. I would take some classes at a local pool or gym and then apply what you learn in your own pool. I think the structured classes, at least for me, are good because I work out at a higher level than I do on my own. Then in between classes, I do my own water workouts and land workouts too. How wonderful that you have your own pool! 1 Chubarella reacted to this
