kwhenrykerr 0 Posted December 12, 2006 Before banding Hunger was a MONSTER. It took over my mood. After banding and getting back to normal (ha ha) I seem to have lost the monster. I can eat normal food in very small amounts. At times my head says that I am not eating enough and at the same time my gut is fine. :hungry: Can anyone express in words what their hunger was like before and after WLS. Woodys 0 Posted December 12, 2006 Hunger pre banding was 24/7 for me.....I had a passion for good food and lots of it...it wasn't so much hunger but obsession, I wanted to eat all the time whether my tummy needed more food or not, I just really enjoyed the act of eating and good food. Now, I get the occassional desire for food when not really hungry, once I have a bite or two it goes away. Carol
flabuless 18 Posted December 12, 2006 For me hunger is mostly in my head...i see food i want to EAT...dont get me wrong I still 'feel' ravenously hungry but while in the past eating 3 platefulls of food filled me up now having a coffee or a small snack generally does the job.
