toqu 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Toqu please let me know how the quickslim 30 works for you. Is it an appetitie supressant or is it supposed to speed up the metabolism Mini Pearl I am here. I am hoping to start losing now that I have a new fill. I have lost 3 lbs this week after not losing for 2 months. I am really afraid that will be all I will lose until I get another fill. The first couple of days, I could hardly eat anything. Now it feels back to normal. I took it for the first time today and I literally had to force myself to eat lunch...Sooo it works great for me!!:clap2:

CMarie 0 Posted April 17, 2007 Terri A pound a day would be sweet I'm sure it won't stay this way but as long as it's steady I'll be happy. My sister had bypass surgery 4 weeks ago and has lost 30 lbs but is sooooo unhappy because she's sick almost everytime she eats. I havn't got sick at all and hope it stays that way. Overall I feel good. Don't think I will be joining the gym because of work and my 11 1/2 month old that keeps me very busy but I have my elliptical and swimming pool (Florida) so I think that will work for now. As of today I'm down 13 pounds and lovin it. Glad to here your on the same track, I expected the weight loss to be so much less because of the lower BMI. csccorona 0 Posted April 19, 2007 Loosing s-l-o-w-l-y... Banded 11/30/06 started at 191.5, now 150. Hope for 20-30 more. Still a bit baggy and saggy over waistbands ect. Think 20 -30 more should help. No body has noticed the weight loss, still look overweight, so will keep loosing if I can. No loss in a couple of weeks, but several pounds 3 weeks ago so think I am just "stabilizing".

My dr. says 1-2 lbs a week (but closer to 1) is expected and you have done MORE than that! Good for you--hang in there!

I had a fill a week ago and finally lost 3 lbs after a 2 month plateau, but I havn't lost anything since then.:phanvan

bklyngal 0 Posted April 22, 2007 well i got my second fill last thursday...under fluro, this time way too tight. after the third day of not being able to hold anything down i called the doctor (this was on a sunday) he called his nurse and they both came to the office to remove a bit of fill (about .5 of a cc) made all the difference. I lost quite a bit in those 3 days not a good way though. if anyone is interested in Costa Rica Dr. Suarez Castro is the best band Dr. here. his fees are simular to those in mexico and his after care is the best. His office calls me daily after a fill (fills are $70.00 + $50.00 for the fluro if you need it) to see how i am doing. There are other doctors here but I have seen first hand the after care or lack of i should say. If anyone would like contact numbers I will be happy to give them to you. I am so very happy to have found him. I am on my way down once again.

youtalk 1 Posted April 22, 2007 Yes..That is exactly what I weighed and that is how tall I am. I was banded by Dr. Spevak in Houston, Tx. So what did you have to do? Did you have to fly there first for the consult, and then fly back for the procedure? And will a local doctor do your fills? Thank you all for the help.
