dansgem 9 Posted May 8, 2013 I'm going on a short trip in a couple weeks. I'll only be a month out, can I bring my Protein powder on the plane?? I was thinking if bringing a couple hard boiled eggs, or a tuna in foil and getting some mayo to make a little lunch on layovers, can I do that? Any other travel ideas? Thanks
newat52 1,613 Posted May 8, 2013 powder should be fine unless you get an over zealous TSA agent. I took several string cheese on the plane with me when I traveled last month. I also had some packets of nectar powder but they were pre packaged and sealed. I checked a bag so I put some Premier Protein shakes in a ziplock then in tupperware and they made it just fine. They helped me a great deal on my trip. Good luck and safe travels.
Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted May 8, 2013 I took my powder on my flights and any food I wanted. (in and out of MX too) As long as they can see what it is they usually don't mind. I included the the label in the bag of powder.
Nyx2891 15 Posted May 8, 2013 I just flew from JFK to Florida with Protein powder packets, a shaker bottle and my liquid carafate medication. Had no issues. They did take my medication for a few minutes to screen it since it was a large bottle of liquid. My mom does Atkins and travels with food all the time
