newat52 1,613 Posted May 8, 2013 Do try upping you calories and carbs but do it with healthier ones, your body may be adjusting to your constant calories. And up your Water, people say this helps. It's hard not to stress about it but dang! Those scales are the root of all evil! It will come off, it has no choice, if nothing else, I am learning that patience is key. Something I have never excelled in. Hang in there sweetie.

Gear 2 Posted May 8, 2013 Hang in there! It happens, I did the same thing then the next month lost 15 pounds. I guess it just takes time for the body to catch up and I found out that when I start stalling I panic and stop eating as much which only hinders the losing processing, because your body is like oh no she is not feeding us HOLD ON TO WHAT WE HAVE! LOL I started eating more frequent just smaller meals. You will get there.

Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted May 8, 2013 I'm right with you. I'm 4 1/2 months out and I've had HUGE stalls. No biggy. Be patient and it will work. Stay with your healthy eating habits because this is what our new lifestyle is about. I don't do carb binges because I'm a past carbaholic and they do wicked things to my head and I refuse to fall into that trap again. I know that with time eating a healthy way is going to get me to goal. No, I didn't say I don't do an occasional treat, but I did say I'm not going off track right now just to experiment with a quick loss fix. Be patient
Lavender 28 Posted May 8, 2013 I haven't had my sleeve yet but have you tried changing up your exercise routine. You may want to even change up the food you are eating and try new things. Sometimes our bodies get use to the same old thing so we need to shock it with a change. Just a suggestion. I got this from my trainer at the gym.
aquitenonnymouse 206 Posted May 8, 2013 Your body is transitioning! If you are loosing inches, but not weight, that's an amount of fat (takes up more space) now taken up by the same weight of muscle (is denser- takes up less space). Keep doing what you're doing. If you decide to up your calories for a few days, make it GOOD calories. No sense in filling yourself with things you shouldn't be eating anyways! 1 Ms.AntiBand reacted to this
