Globetrotter 1,340 Posted May 8, 2013 Today I answered the siren call of the carbs, and I'm so ashamed - started the day off with a half serving of frosted mini-wheats. lunch saw me eat a bite EACH of: pizza, Pasta shells, yakisoba noodles, roasted potatoes, AND a gyro with yogurt sauce. And, I just had a pop-tart. I .... don't know what got into me. I'm on my way to the gym now to run like mad and lift punishing weights and dinner will be plain tuna.< /p>

Arts137 1,811 Posted May 8, 2013 after losing 130#, you can't be tripped by a pop tart or a 'bite' of pizza. Get back on the program and your (obvious) successes will continue. 2 FeeIsMe2 and angeliclady reacted to this
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted May 8, 2013 I am not able to eat Cereal in the morning because it sets me up for a carb inhale all freaking day. Sucks, because I love cereal. Have you tried (and I am sure you have) something else for Breakfast? 1 aroundhky reacted to this
Globetrotter 1,340 Posted May 8, 2013 @Arts - it's only 105 lbs, I have another 57 lbs to goal :/ @Lipstick - girl, I've tried it all, there is no rhyme or reason to the carb craze. Some days I start off with a Protein shake and I'm full all day, other days I start off with a shake and can't stop eating all dang day.
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted May 8, 2013 I love being a girl, except times like this. I am doing NO CARBS at all, otherwise it's a total **** storm for me.
FeeIsMe2 508 Posted May 8, 2013 I love being a girl, except times like this. I am doing NO CARBS at all, otherwise it's a total **** storm for me. Me too! Carbs are my total downfall! So I stay the hell away from them!
skinnyginny 128 Posted May 8, 2013 I love being a girl, except times like this. I am doing NO CARBS at all, otherwise it's a total **** storm for me. Same here! It is amazing how a little Pasta can stop the scale from moving in the right direction. I have to stay away from it completely.
aroundhky 1,174 Posted May 8, 2013 I am not able to eat cereal in the morning because it sets me up for a carb inhale all freaking day. Sucks, because I love cereal. I've noticed the same thing. If I eat anything before noon, it's low carb or a Protein shake. I've noticed if I do that, I don't crave carbs (bad carbs) as much the rest of the day. You'd have been worried about eating a WHOLE pizza. Or a BOX of pasta shells. hehe 6 Hnybear5150, aquitenonnymouse, LipstickLady and 3 others reacted to this
