If you have a stall you are either eating to many calories/carbs and or not exercising enough. At least that's what my surgeon says. I suggest to make sure your getting in the required liquid intake 64 ounces. Get enough Protein in 50-70 grams. Take a laxative , Maybe your clogged up. Most importantly keep your calorie intake between 600-800 calories for the first 6-9 months. When I ate more than 800 I stalled. Once you get to goal weight you can eat more than that. Hope this helps

I lost 13 pounds in the first two weeks then STALLED for three weeks.. then lost three more pounds.. then another week of nothing.. This week so far I have lost three more pounds. Stalls happen.

For me, I have one of those super fancy body composition scales so it was interesting that I could see my body Water percentage climbing.. It actually increased by the equivalent of 10 pounds..So If I hadn't been gaining Water weight.. I wouldn't have been in the stall! My BF% was actually going down during this time sooo REEEEEAAAALY it wasn't a stall, it just looked like one because the pounds weren't moving.

The reason my body water percentage went up is because I went from being in ketosis, to increasing my carbs as I introduced new foods into my diet. When you go out of ketosis, you gain water.

Stalls happen... they are NORMAL. If you are eating how your are supposed to and getting a reasonable amount of exercise. (and my doctor told me nothing more than light walking for SIX WEEKS post op) then it's not your fault, it's just your body adjusting.

Which means you were loosing inches. Here is a great article that explains what is happening.

I took my diuretic pill for my blood pressure for a few days, I was off of it since surgery and I increased my calories for a few days, that seemed to do the trick!!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
