Everyone has a slip up or two now and again. What's important is that you acknowledge it and seek the attention you need. I had a issue also and what I did to overcome was voiced my opinion to people who ate bad things in my presence. I was tactful of course, I just asked them to eat in another room or I took it upon myself to leave the room. It has worked for me, but every individual is different or you can just eat filling foods that allow you to stay full longer..Hope this helps

Start over tommorow morning :) Protein first, then veggies you won't be able to cheat :) remember why you had the surgery, and how awesome you will look a month from now :) Stay strong! IF you need to eat something and can't take it anymore there's chesters corn puffs 60 of them is like 160 calories. sugar free angel cake and sugar free pudding is another. They are not very high in calories and they satisfy the crazy monster that tries to demolish my hard work. Myfitnesspal.com really helps too. I track my protein and calories. It holds me accountable for what I put in my mouth. Keep your eyes on the prize ;)

I like the bad foods most of all! Honestly, I eat a lot of bad stuff. I'm losing at a reasonable pace so I'm not that worried about it but I do recognize that the sweets etc are taking up space that should be used for food that has some nutritional value.

Its kinda like the further down this road I go the available space in my stomach gets smaller and if I eat too much junk I have no room for healthy foods. While I don't enjoy it, it is forcing me to really think before I eat the candy or brownies.

Don't be too hard on yourself for veering of the track. Just remind yourself to really watch the bad stuff and make sure you eat enough good things.

You are doing just fine:)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
