neneh_vsg 44 Posted June 26, 2013 All I brought and used was my iPhone. Just had to make sure it stayed charged. I was only in the hospital overnight, though.

BrianSATX 116 Posted June 26, 2013 Thanks everyone! From all the advice I read I heard don't bring much. My iphone will be good!! Anything else?? lol I brought my iPad, cuz I had no pain so no pain meds so I was awake except for day 1. Not a bad idea to bring something just in case or have it ready for someone to bring for you. CHAP STICK is probably most important! Let me repeat that! CHAP STICK is probably most important! If you are NPO you will be dying of dry lips. I didn't believe it til I felt it. Good luck! Kami63 215 Posted June 26, 2013 I was sleeved today I have had nothing unexpected. I have pain when moving but when laying in bed I feel fantastic for just having major surgery. I was allowed to drink today. My surgeon allows it so I feel blessed in that way. So I have been walking sleeping nd sipping. Oh and don't forget pushing to morphine pump button. Oh and two things that have been life saver. For ladies front closing bra with no underwire. Andi asked if I could get an abdominal binder. That is awesome Good luck to those being sleeved tomorrow! 4 colcol, SheWins1, neneh_vsg and 1 other reacted to this
