I had to switch my insurance in November (something about our zip code). I went with Mutual of Omaha. I sent them my paperwork the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and I got a call last friday the 8. I can't believe how fast they were. I had been fighting BCBS since April. I don't even have my insurance card yet. I hope to be able to make an appointment for mid to late Janurary.

That is great! I too got approved yesterday!!! I'm with United Healthcare and my paperwork was submitted somewhere betwwon 11/22 and 12/1, and it they have already approved me. I'll be a January Bandster too!

Especially since you had bc/bs earlier. I had them too and I got tired of jumping through they're hoops and self paid. I hate bc/bs, we pay them 619.00 per month for my husband and myself and they wouldn't even pay for my flu shot. Congrats on your upcoming surgeries. If you all have any questions about surgery pm and I would be glad to help you. I've been banded for 5 months now.
