ellebellestudio 2 Posted May 29, 2013 I am, I am Only two more weeks of the "old" me...looking forward to the new and improved sleeved me. They say waiting can be the hardest part...it is, so we're going to Disneyland at the end of next week. I'll have no time to get anxious or nervous about the surgery, because there will be no time to think about it!

ratrita 45 Posted May 31, 2013 Day 4 ... Not hungry but need another shake...oh yes! Lost some weight but sugar is still high.
ellebellestudio 2 Posted May 31, 2013 Our plan is way different (Kaiser NorCal). They are anti-shake. So, we continue to follow the 1200 pre-op diet we've been on since starting the program, up until 6pm the night before surgery. Now, even though they are anti-shake, I admit, I have about 1 a day, since I am always busy around lunch time and forget to eat. The best tasting shakes I've found are the Premier Protein Shakes at Costco/Sams. The chocolate ones are like drinking chocolate pudding (not as thick, but the taste is similar.) They have 160 calories each, but a whopping 30 grams of Protein and 1 gram of sugar.
ratrita 45 Posted May 31, 2013 There seems to be many different pre-surgery diet plans. Not liking mine but will follow doctors orders. Wondering if a healthy dinner tonight would be awful. Guess it would be wrong if I want to follow orders.
