OhMyMindy 0 Posted May 5, 2013 I'm having a really difficult time with Kaiser (SoCal Riverside) I met with a doctor and was told I'm approved for surgery since I have a BMI of 40. He said as long as I show proof that I've tried at least a twelve week program before then I wouldn't have to do their program that costs $200. Well I showed proof that I've had a personal trainer with all my weekly session logs, printed out a confirmation from when I bought 3 months of nutrisystem, and printed out a bank statement showing that I've done weight watchers ( I couldn't find my logs ) and they're saying it is still not enough to show that I've made an effort on my own and need to do their program! 1) I don't have money to do their program. 2) I have a newborn and my husband is gone during the week for work so there's no way I could attend their weekly classes even if I could afford it. Did anyone else have similar issues? What did you provide to prove that you've made weight loss attempts on your own so that you didn't have to spend even more money towards weight loss? I appreciate any feedback given
RebecaSparkles 247 Posted May 5, 2013 Go to weight watchers & have the leader print out the visit records. It'll list all the times you went & your weights. Its considered a medical record do they have to keep them 7 years & they have to give u a copy if u ask. Have the leader sign the print out. That worked for my kaiser. allons-y
