I was just looking into this topic. I was thinking about finding a good liquid Vitamin that I could add to my shakes or smoothies. I'm curious to see what people post.

I take Centrum Silver chewables. Took awhile to get used to them, but not a problem now.

I get liquid vitamins from a friend who sells Vemma. It's a great Multi-Vitamin and tastes good also. PM me if you want the info. I don't feel right posting it on here.

I use Centrum Citrus Liquid Multivitamins and keep it in the fridge. Its not too bad, the consistency is like liquid tylenol.

I've always taken a small capsule Multivitamin. My Dr's office told me not to take any Vitamins for 2 weeks after the surgery. Then I started taking a capsule (about 9 different kinds) after that. I knew I wouldn't take the liquid or the gummies....By blood levels have been within normal range too....:)

I just started taking this liquid Vitamins because I had such low energy. Is really good and doesn't taste bad at all. It also has minerals, greens, amino acids, mushrooms, veggies, and fruits. Super booster.

I was looking into getting this liquid vitaimin but then I read reviews that said it tasted horrible. What exactly does it taste like? I was also looking into getting Organic life but then I noticed it didn't have Vitamin K so that was a bummer. Another one I'm considering is liquid gold but it is expensive!

No I haven't. I didn't buy any of the Vitamins yet, I'm still trying to decide which one is best and closest to all natural.

www.wellesse.com have all liquid vitamins and are recommended for bariatric patients. All are fruit flavored. The B12 does taste kind bitter.

Im preop:Vitamins have always made me feel nauseous...I thought liquid would be different but I was wrong...anyone have any experience with that...any tricks or tips or specific Vitamins you can recommend to prevent that nauseous feeling?

I started with the Centrum liquid and am going to the Alive! liquid next. I used to take the Alive! regular tablet Vitamins and loved them pre-op. I find that I tolerate Vitamins much better if i take them at lunch with food, not first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

I also sometimes put them right in my Protein shake (the Wellesse Calcium liquid too). Then I don't notice them at all.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
